PrimeX Technology leverages the flexibility and the cost effectiveness of the HP Data Archival and HSM Solutions to integrate with existing or new Tape Libraries, Backup Solutions, Data Deduplication technologies such as Ocarina Networks, Commvault, and Data Domain to minimize exposure, mitigate risk, and integrate within 12 business days into a customer’s data center while lowering power consumption, recovering 75 percent of existing data center space, and increasing performance 10 to 50 times the standard solutions of traditional tape.

We understand that the overwhelming amount of data growth is strangling traditional backup systems causing IT operations to miss backup windows and push production start times. The shear amount of data coupled with storage costs makes traditional methods virtually impossible. Through the HP solutions, PrimeX offers data reduction with content-aware compression and deduplication as other alternatives for data protection and retention. We provide solutions that are compatible with Linux/Unix and Windows clients, supporting at least CIFS, NFS, SCP, SFTP protocols and Kerberos and RSA SecurID authentication.
